Most challenges in our world are deeply interconnected. In this unit, your assistant Sol will help you explore how global issues like climate change, poverty, migration, and inequality are all part of complex systems.

Now that you’ve begun to see the world differently, it’s time to build new ideas. In this unit, your assistant Sol will introduce you to the four core pillars of Global Citizenship Education (GCE).

• Systems Thinking – understand the complexity of global issues
• Empathy – connect emotionally with people and perspectives
• Active Citizenship – take action locally and globally
